At Language Arts Academy, our Afterschool Spanish Program provides children ages 3 to 8 with an engaging, enriching environment where they can develop Spanish language skills, build friendships, explore their creativity, and keep learning beyond the traditional school day.

Once-a-week class

Our program combines Spanish immersion, age-appropriate educational activities, creative exploration, and supervised play to give children meaningful learning experiences in a safe, nurturing, welcoming environment.

Whether your child is beginning to learn Spanish or already has experience with the language, our teachers provide individualized guidance to help each child develop confidence in understanding and communicating in Spanish.

Through interactive lessons, conversations, storytelling, music, games, and hands-on activities, children discover that learning a second language can be enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding.

Spanish Immersion & Bilingual Communication

Children develop Spanish vocabulary, listening comprehension, pronunciation, and conversational skills through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Our teachers encourage children to use Spanish naturally during classroom conversations, games, songs, storytelling, and everyday interactions.

Spanish Reading & Writing

Children are introduced to or strengthen their Spanish literacy skills through age-appropriate activities, including:

• Letter recognition and letter sounds in Spanish.

• Rhyming words, syllables, and phonological awareness.

• Writing letters, words, and simple sentences.
